A brand new and exciting Christmas festival featuring street food and live music is coming to Bournville.
The Bournville Village Christmas Festival will take place on Saturday 2nd December on and around Bournville Village Green.
Starting at 2pm, it will begin with the arrival of Father Christmas on his sleigh followed by an official opening by special guest Duncan Cadbury.
Other attractions will include lantern making, a festive market and tree decoration making.
There’ll also be the chance to get a snap of you creating your own nativity scene, tours and performances of the Carillon, street food, a Santa’s Grotto and performances from local choirs and musical groups.
The shops by the Village Green will also be promoting their seasonal gifts.
Bournville Village Council will oversee the traditional lights switch-on at 6pm followed by music from the Birmingham Rock School.
Organisations including Bournville Village Trust, Bournville Village Council, Busy Parents Network, the Carillon, Rowheath Pavilion, Selly Manor Museum and St Francis Church have come together to put on the special event.
