The Bournville 2018 New Year's Day Walk

Warning! If it happens to be raining at midday on New Year's Day then the walk, unfortunately, will be cancelled.

The Bournville Village Council has, once again, organised an invigorating walk around the Bourvnille area on New Year's Day next year.

It is an informal walk, with no marshals, or supervision or route markings. We will all meet by the shops on the Bournville Green at midday on the 1st January.

Come as a group or come as an individual. Meet new people or walk around on your own, the choice is entirely yours. However we anticipate that it will be an interesting expedition for everyone.

The walk will cross the Bristol Road and visit close to the sad remains of George Cadbury's old home at Manor Farm. We should pass through most of Bournville's parklands.

We are afraid that we are unaware of any site on our route where toilets or refreshments might be available. Do bring drinks and a snack if you feel you may need them.

The map below gives you the route we shall be following, although this map is subject to fine tuning as we approach New year's Day.

If you click on the map, an option to print will appear. It might be useful to bring a copy of the map with you.
